75. Suffering
Suffering is a gift from the gods in order to make men see the whole of life.

without any changes. Curiously, he translated this same line in
a letter to Syed Sulieman Nadvi on 2 December 1918, as the
saying of “a writer of English who had experienced the farreaching effects of suffering.” – KAS.
